ABOUT GLOBAL COMPACT

The United Nations Global Compact, launched in 2000, bringing together more than 14,670 companies in 162 countries and nearly 70 local networks around the world, offers a simple, universal and voluntary commitment framework, which is based on ten principles relating to respect for Human Rights, international labor standards, the environment and the fight against corruption.

With the general support of all 193 participating countries of the United Nations General Assembly, the UN Global Compact remains the single global normative authority and the point of reference for action and leadership within '' a growing global corporate sustainability movement
